Ceremonies
The House and gardens are licensed to hold civil ceremonies, it is possible to have a non-religious ceremony anywhere in the gardens, be it on the oval front lawn, in front of your beautiful marquee or down by the river, the choice is entirely yours. Also, the pretty church of St Gile’s is less than 100 metres walk from the house, and the impressive Dorchester Abbey is just 5 miles away.
The Drinks Reception
The oval lawn and drive with the exquisite house as the backdrop provides you with the perfect setting for a Champagne and canapé reception, or celebrate your marriage on the terrace overlooking the gardens, lake and countryside beyond.
The Marquee
Walk through the Hall and Drawing Room to the back lawns and the splendid setting for you marquee wedding breakfast and party.
